i need excellent costume ideas that can be made from simple household objects

At least cigarettes are filtered.

I purchased a great big box of translucent PixelBlocks yesterday, but I am at a loss what to do with them. I’m not opposed to just recreating old NES sprites like everybody else, but I’d like my digital recreation project to be at least nominally more original than Black Mage #37.

So: suggestions?
