good dog

I read a fantastic short story at lunch, reminiscent in many ways of Morrison’s superb We3. It’s called “Sergeant Chip,” about an enhanced dog soldier in a near-future war, and available online in its entirety.

I’ve been meaning to pick up We3 for some time. How does it compare with some of Morrison’s other work?

Honestly? It’s his best. Which may be hard to believe, but, it is! Both he and Quitely deliver at levels they really haven’t before, and the fact that it’s only 3 issues means there’s not a single penstroke or word of filler in the whole thing. Definitely read it if you haven’t already.

Thanks for pointing that out.

I’ll find it, then. Thanks!
